Does vegaforums.net look like FK?

I do not mean to advertise or anything but I am just concerned if VF looks similar to FK, what do you think?
 
It looks like they ripped the theme and made some minor edits.
 
is it illegal to take parts of another mybb theme? like viphackforums is practically clone of hf but nothing happens so i am just wondering.

What do you think?

Yeah it can be taken down if the owner of the theme files a DMCA report.
 
Then why doesnt HF file a DCMA report again VIPHF, it has been up for like a year now or more?

and how can they prove that its a rip, like for example if the owner changes a bit in the site, like i see many facebook like sites and none are taken down.. or youtube clones..
 
its obviously a rip, Look at the bottom were it says who created it, it has been edited.
 
So what happens if its a rip.. cuz i see many mybb rip themes and nothing happens especially if its not a complete rip (like stuff has been changed) as Lamar mentioned some edits has been made
 
If they are under an offshore host they can't be DMCA'd unless its child porn or something of that matter.
 
Oh okay thank you MinecraftGeek (Y) if its not offshore and the theme is not completely the same like atm can it be brought down just because they took some stuff from FK like in design only?
 
Yes because Philly owns rights to that specific theme. He paid for it and he is the only one legally allowed to use it. If VF is onshore Philly will most likely send in a DMCA complaint. It's also illegal, Some people have had court threats etc for ripping themes.

It's still the same with minor edits meaning they have added stuff to it, That does not make it there's to use.

its cuz the owner is a friend of mine so i will warn him about this so he would change it :) may send philly about it to ask permission to use some stuff for a referall or something
