does the 48 hour method work still?

Yes. You do get the codes but for some reason, whenever I put in the code, I can't go online or join parties. Try it out and tell me if it works for you.

Yeah same, it says that this account is authorized to play on xbox live. but im still connected and everything, and it says i redeemed a legit code, but it's like i have silver account.
 
Exactly. I might just contact MS tomorrow telling them this situation in hope of getting another 48 hour

lmao, they will probably give you a new one seeing as how it is a legit code that can be redeemed. however im not going to wait to talk to a representative and try to convince them im legit everytime i need a 48 hour lol
