yes, i unplug those appliances when not in use, because if you dont unplug it on the socket still it consumed the electricity, its a big help if you are unplug those unnecessary appliances because you save a little and the money will add more to your pocket.

well it is very important to unplug the appliances when not in use,they tend to loose on electricity too. But at times there could be fluctuation and your good old appliance goes off and is ruined beyond repair. So better to save some electricity by doing this.

Even though the appliance is turned off, there is a residual current passing through it. so it is important that you unplug all electric appliances when not in use. you can also save a few amount from your electric bill and also its for the betterment of our environment.

yes i do that every time even i went to bathroom or for lunch or dinner every time i will unplugged every thing.to save the energy.
