Do you think XP is teh fastest window?

I am using XP window since 5 years and there has been no comments yet. Its very fast and easy to use. It keeps our system very safe. I think its the fastest window i have used ever. Do you think XP is the fastest window?

I'm also using XP since 7 years and I never used other OS's, but I think there are faster than XP like w7 and etc.
 
The Operating System makes little difference, the most difference there is, is; RAM, Processor, and the amount of shit you have on your computer, if you have a bunch of crap like downloads installed crappy features of course your computer is going to be running slow, anyways, I run Windows 7 with a windows vista theme but when I am playing a game on it i switch to windows 95 because it runs faster.
 
It depends. Lets say if it was for gaming. Obviously getting a alienware would allow to play the game more smoothly. Windows 7 is probably much faster then windows xp unless you upgrade your pc or whatever.

ya i think xp is best it may or may not be the fastest
 
Windows 7 is the fastest i'm using now, i have dual boot for Windows XP and 7
I try to compare the speed on opening the file and thing related and the result is 7 is the best.
 
xp meerkat is the one I use besides going very fast is a lite version comes with a pentium 3 400mhz pc and 256 ram and I'm doing excellent
 
i use XP since uhhhhh more years ! I like very much than others !
And for all my customers we install Xp in all their pc

it think it depends on the user who are using the OS because win7 is good too it has many great features unlike in xp and they have same speed depends on the speed on it on your physical memory...
 
well it seems like XP is fast, because it doesnt have a lot of widget feature/theme/and other docks. Whereas Windows Vista and 7 has all those thus making it a bit slow, and btw if u have a higher configuration then XP and 7 are all the same
 
Windows 7 starter is much faster than any Windows XP edition, I have personally used them both and W7 starter goes way faster, the internet opens up instantly, although people may think IE is not good enough, it was working extremely fast on the W7 starter. Also, I'm talking about the speed of the OS and not the ISP speed, therefore the fastest OS in my opinion is probably the W7 starter.
 
Well I guess it is not on the operating system you have but depends on the CPU itself. If you have a higher ram or specifications then your PC performance will surely be in high speed no matter what is the operating system it is either xp or windows 7.
 

Nope, not necessarily on your CPU, I used W7 Starter on a lower performance PC than my Windows XP and yet the W7 starter was still considerably faster, I noticed the change in speed.
 
I like Windows xp , for me its the fastest and most reliable OS . It has a nice simple look and a simple interface , and that's why i like it the most.
 
i use window 7 long time ago...because i think window 7 is faster than Xp...also window 7 have better graphic than window xp...
 
For me, yes. Because windows XP doesn't eat much RAM on your system, but windows 7 is also fast the only problem is that windows 7 lags sometimes.
 
I would say, win7 is faster than XP and is more user friendly. Though I used XP for more than 6 years, I upgraded to win 7 as my personal choice. I find it more convenient.
 
i use to use windows xp but i recently upgraded to windows 7, i find it just as fast or not faster than windows xp.
