He blatantly insulted all smokers in general and didn't expect us to stand up for ourselves. I 100% stand up for what I said and if he wants an apology for being "immature", than i'm glad he's leaving.
 

That's the problem. I don't care what you mind. I wasn't making this thread for you. I wrote it because I felt like it. I knew some people were going to appreciate it but I didn't know those that didn't were going to rage at me in spite of it.

I've made up my mind. I'm getting into too many arguments with the members on RG. Like Aidan said, this forum isn't mature enough for me and I'm too strict on the way I do things. It's a bad combination.

I'm resigning as mod and PM'ing management to be permanently banned from RG as we speak.
 

It's not to spite you, it's simply there opinion. I don't think you should refer to all smokers as bad people, so i made my opinion apparent. You're going to get the same feedback EVERYWHERE.

About the immature thing, i'm not refferring to everyone, just a large majority...
 

I'm not only leaving because of the smoking thread, its due to an accumulation of things that have pushed me over the edge. This forum isn't right for me. You guys are all roughly 14-16 years old. I can't have a decent conversation with many of you without you guys constantly trying to WIN an argument.

Well it's too big of a majority for me.
 

Is that not the point of an argument? You think one thing and I think another. We are trying to get our point across. You can drop it at any time but you keep pushing your way?
 

No, I was referring to topics not in the debate section. Just things that people talk about like that. Like, anytime I make a thread, I'm fucking mauled by users that want to go against me just because they think I'm HQ and that it would be a privilege to beat me at something.

I've given up arguments that I know I'm wrong. But no one on this forum gives in, ever!!!! And that's not honorary.

That's when you just give up and walk away. Or, stop replying. I just got heated in this thread because you generalized all smokers in the same catagory than told me to grow up for not agreeing.
 
 
 
 
Seriously people that smoke, needs to stop. My mother is in the Hospital right now, for about two weaks as of today because of smoking. It's absolutely stupid to smoke. There are other things in this world to 'calm you down' other than smoking.
 

How the hell is cigarettes a sensitive subject?
 

For example there is death and illness involved. Not to mention no smoker wants to hear the hazards again and again, to be honest the moment you posted a topic on smoking and your thoughts, it was asking for a serious debate.
 

But that is the persons fault for smoking. If he or she doesn't want to hear about it, they shouldn't smoke. If that person doesn't want death, illnesses and whatever else smoking causes, they shouldn't smoke. It is that persons choice to smoke and to damage their body. And if someone wants to try and talk about it, as Solidify is doing. I see nothing wrong and I see no reason to why there should be a 'debate' about anything.
 

The idea of this thread is that smoking causes harm. How do you want to debate that? Please do tell.

Ya and? I'm asking who smokes cigarettes? It's a cliffhanger to lead into my thread. How the fuck does that one line make this topic a debate? The idea that smoking is bad for you can't be debated. Even smokers know it.

Next time I ask you a question, instead of answering with a single quoted line, why don't you try to fucken explain yourself a bit, hokay? That's what I mean about users here. WTF! You guys make shit so complicated when it doesn't have to be.
 

A title is something that provides a basis for or justifies a claim. The main idea of his thread is to tell that smoking causes harm.
 

Me and Joel have explained it multiple times. You're just not listening. You can't handle being corrected, i'm done.
