In the Philippines, English is prioritized. We started learning the English language at a very young age. Personally, I believe that it is really useful that we, filipinos, know English quite well. I cannot say that we perfectly know the grammar but most of us are well-trained.

How about you guys? my co-filipinos? do you believe that we still have to prioritize and practice English? Let me know your ideas. :)

Ya i believe that english must be well practiced not only english but evrything in which you want to be perfect you must practice that. As you know that practicè makes a man perfect so i suggest you to perform and practice well.

Well yes I believe we should give importance to English education as it is the international language. If everyone can speak English, there would be a better global communication and understanding. The country's English efficiency can also help improve the tourism and business industry. It is also a plus factor when one applies for a job.

Well I am from India and our mother language is Hindi but English is very important in every feild and I am crazy about to speak and you know it makes high level when you speak good english , I agree it will be good if you do practise

yes..we need to practice how we speak english, even not too good..as long as we can communicate to other's..english is our national language so we need to know how to speak.

english is said to be the universal language so i think we should learn it because we use this language as primary communication language. also, when you can speak fluently means that you are educated.. (well, kind of). however, i think we shouldn't forget our own language. there are people i know who are more fluent in english than in filipino which is kind of sad

I think it is good that we put importance to the universal language because being named as such is basically very useful whenever you are traveling from one place or country to another. But however, we also need to put emphasis to our native tongue. It marks our culture being a Filipino.
