Do you believe in Satan?

As the title states, do you believe in Satan? I have seen the "Do you believe in god?" thread and I had an idea to start this thread.

I don't believe in Satan. I don't think there's any devil under mother-earth with his stick.
 
Anyone who's a Christian believes in Satan, so this thread is theoretically another "do you believe in god?" thread. No I do not believe in Satan as in the idea of him, the specifics. I do believe in negative energy and negative lifeforms who have passed on from what we call "reality".
 
Not really. I know a few people who believe in God, but not in Satan. Haha.
 

My religion is Christian and I don't believe in a 'Satan'. I also find it hard to explain that god was the one who created the world and stuff, I believe in mother nature, not those stories that aren't proven.
 
You can believe in God and not be a Christian. It's a known fact that 80% of people who believe in god are christians though, thus making my original point of a large majority of people who believe in God will believe in the Devil himself.

Yeah true, but what about people who are Christian(as their pšarents are) and don't believe in Satan nor God?
 
He is telling us that his parents believe in god and that automatically makes him Christian.
 
Oh okay I understand now. It doesn't automatically make you Christian at all, whether they force the beliefs on you or not. It's whether you believe in it or not. If you do not believe in anything like that, you're an Atheist, unless you don't know what you believe then you're Agnostic.

Either way, "God" and "Satan" are ideas from a religion thus making most Satan believers also God believers.

Well, I'm a Christian, I wasn't the one who chosen the religion, my parents were. I still go to the church but this is like twice a year like all my friends and they're christian's aswell and don't believe in god nor devil.

Satan is a figure of speech.
There is no physical being called "Satan" on earth or beneath.
But the energy does exist.
 
yes i believe in both god and Satan, Satan was once called Lucifer who was in heaven in the kingdom of god and he has fallen and now is known as Satan. In other words it was all one until one angel had fallen and now there is two and soon there will be one again, it is always nice to go back into a little second form philosophy hope you understand.
 
No I don't.
Then I'd be believing in God aswell.
It would be good if they existed so people aren't wasting time with Religion
But I doubt it.

I don't think it's right to believe in god, but then not believe that their is satan...
