I have a nice url but when  using the app it doesn't even show it or anything I don't understand.

Same with me I lost my vine though?

only purpose is so people can find you by going to the site on a computer I think.

But I believe this formula applies: The more OG your URL, the more friends you have.

How do you even find someones url from the app?

I don't think you can. I think it's just for linking people. although, i'm not 100% positive as i'm not too shabby with vine

in like 10years they might be worth something, who knows

Its for posting your link on twitter for the vines and your profile, vines owned by twitter I believe

Lol the way they implemented the URL's was so pointless. Nobody searches vines by URL's, and in the app the search function only brings up the name you put on the account. I have a nice ass vine too, from the day the URL's were released.
