Yeti said:Yes, I've been wearing my glasses since 2nd grade, I can give you some advice if you want.

Yeti said:Find whatever glasses you want, its no pressure. you should like them, not hide behind them. All high end glasses can have their lenses punched out and prescription ones put in, so feel free to shop high fashion brands and so on :-] (http://www.supremenewyork.com/shop/accessories/alton-sunglasses/tortoise)
Take them into your shower. I do this all the time. I take them into the shower and usually soap up the nosepads and rims or whatever. This functions to a) keep them clean and looking fly and b) to help reduce skin oils that cause them to slide over time
Whenever you go on a vacation, throw in cleaning solution and a wipe. Nothings worse than a smudge. Sometimes it is fun to play with it and adjust your prospective as to make it look like its bouncing and so on.
When people try them on and are like "woooahhhh your so blind". Just remember they are retarded and the prescription wasn't written for their cracker ass.
Sometimes when doing strenuous activities you debate whether to keep them on or take them off. Honestly this is the hardest part about wearing glasses. Just don't get sports glasses they are gay as fuck.
If you get a smudge and its setting off OCD just take it to a sink, rinse lenses with soap and water, and air dry via blowing on them. Like in car washes.
Follow those things and you'll be set. I recommend shopping on RayBan and maybe consulting your girlfriend. I've got RB 5154 2000 and I think they look fine.

wall said:Dude, you are a fucking lifesaver. thanks so much man. I was trippen about the whole glasses thing this whole week. I have oakley's right now. they are whatever but I want RayBan's.
Yeti said:Thanks, glad you read it
Honestly, I wish someone had told me about the flexibility of choosing glasses in the beginning. If you would like I can send you a picture of mine.
Again, these types of glasses are fashionable and perfectly acceptable for prescription substitution. Just make sure to double check with your optometrist
