Today I took my state's Driving Permit Test for the 3rd time... and failed... for the third time.
The Permit Test is a test you take at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) on their computers to determine whether you are prepared to take the actually hands on driving portion of the test.
The catch is that you must pass the 25 question test with at least an 80%. (I failed on question 23 of 25, dear jesus i was pissed)
After passing the computerized test you must wait 6 months before you are actually legible to receive a hard copy license (freedom).
I've waited too long and I cant seem to pass. My birthday is in roughly 5 months so this means I will NOT be driving on my birthday.
How many times did it take you all to pass? Any Advice?
You can take the test every 5 days, so I will return there Wednesday. #FourthTimesACharm
I passed it on the first try but that's cuz the DMV instructor told us everything we needed to know & mostly crammed just the generic test questions that pop up into our heads. Plus I read the entire manual. You should pass it if you read up & take the sample questions on the DMV's website.
I'm fortunate to have a drivers ed class in school. Took me one try and I'm getting my full license two weeks after my birthday. Saving up cash for a 2004 Mazda RX8
I passed on my first try, I thought it was pretty easy, common sense mostly. I didn't study or take any classes, but maybe if you study it would better your chances. It took me two try's to get my actual license, but now I'm free
Passed mine on the first try with 92%. It's easy af lol, the driving part was a struggle for me. Spent $200 for license, because I failed the first time.
