So I stopped playing basketball this year, but I want to stay in shape by lifting weights.

I asked the weightlifting coach's daughter what days does he do lifts after school, since I am not playing sports anymore, and he said that you can't life unless you are on a sports team.

What kind of bullshit is that? I mean I know it's probably a school policy, but that is complete bullshit. I need the workout as much as they should allow anyone to lift weights if they attend school. I mean they spent the school's money to purchase the weight room, so any student should be allowed to lift.

So now I have no way of lifting weights. The only way it would have worked is if I could have lifted after school.

The fuck I should do? Anyone?

It's the same way at my school. it's stupid.

Well if you don't have weights at your house then I suggest doing workouts that don't require weights. Sometimes people forget that there are plenty of ways to exercise using your own body weight. Just do push-ups, crunches, run, etc...

Run 2mils
Push ups 25 sets of 4
Sit ups I go to 200
100 crunches
Every morning and night.

Try to not eat fatting foods. It's hard to resist.

I just did pushups and crunches, but that doesn't make my legs stronger.

And without weights, the time-span to grow stronger increases because using conventional methods take longer.

It's like, I go there, I should be allowed to lift weights there.

Go to a nearby gym. Its cheap, if your in school just ask your parents to get you a subscription to the gym. Go there after school for an hour.

If you have no way to get there, just do what everybody else is saying, or ask your parents to buy you a few decent weight sets.

it depends how old you are, you shouldn't lift too much if your under 16 as your still growing and shit.

you can always buy equipment online, pretty cheap too.

or if you really wanna get in shape try p90x.

p90x = hard as fuck lol.

And I don't have the means to get to a gym, nor the money.

Buying a set is out of the question because we have no place to put it.

I really needed as much as I wanted to workout at the school.

Well it seems your choices are limited. It is either talk to people at the school to see about you getting access to the equipment or you do like some of us have suggested.

If you don't like either of those then I guess you could do nothing and get out of shape. Or perhaps get into some other sport at your school so they do allow you access.

Weights these days arent actually that expensive.

How old are you? You can still get fit by doing body weight exercise. Speed squats, crunches, wide grip puships, close grip pushup, 90,90 hamstring and other exercise.

your options are limited then.

perhaps you could get one of thoose door frame chin-up bars, they are pretty good and take up no room at all.

also, the power pushup things, they can be pretty help full.

aerobic exercise is good but you'd be surprised how little it benefits you some times.

Buy some weights at your local Model store. Don't buy separate dumbbells, rather, buy a package with a bar and adjustable weights. You save a lot of money if you do. Also, buy gloves so you don't catch calluses.
