I'm making this thread to suggest that when warnings are handed out, PM's are given to explain why exactly they were warned so someone could appeal it, if necessary and to be honest. Having the warning will just fix things up with people so they're not wondering why and how exactly they got it.

tl;dr When warnings handed out, PM's be given to warned person.

RE: Warnings

This is probably a logical idea to use to explain why the warning was received, etc. Like you explained.
So I agree with this.

RE: Warnings

Good idea, but I doubt staff would actually do this.

RE: Warnings

Cheers Glen. Looking forward to this hopefully being implemented.

RE: Warnings

This is what I've been thinking about.
That damned warning bar should just die out...

RE: Warnings

No, the warning bar should be there, it's just like having infractions except displays it better, and only to yourself.

They just need to notify us on why exactly the % was given.

RE: Warnings

Back in the day When I got a warning I would just look what it said it was for and by who then Message the staff who ever warned me and ask what it was for then bitch them out for giving me one for something stupid =)

But yea would be cool if you did not have to message them to ask what it was for

RE: Warnings

There is actually a built in system setup to allow staff to send a PM when they give people a warning, I am pretty sure that the warning has a link to the post aswell.

If I warn someone I welcome them to PM me and I will respond promptly.

RE: Warnings

I usually do

RE: Warnings

Yeah, we have the choice to send one or not, I'll start from now.

^ It's not our responsibility to take you by the hand and explain why you got a warning. If you want to know, you PM the staff member that gave it to you asking.

This suggestion has been denied by Management. You should have an explanation above this post, if you are in need of a further explanation, please contact Management.
