Delete most of the AWARDS

As long as I get to keep Baller, I'm all for this.

Yes, only a limited amount of awards should be sold. Along with usergroups, or they become almost worthless.

Exactly. The reason why the majority of the groups on here are inactive, is because there are so many groups. If you don't get into the one you want, you can get into one without a reason. From time-to-time, I go into UserCP and apply to all the groups to see what groups would let me in. I get let into a few. Not sure if it's because they respect me or if it's just because they let anyone that does that in. Although I like doing that and I like being able to just join a group whenever I want, it shouldn't be like that.

There should be a maximum of 10 usergroups and 10 user-owned awards. That way, the market isn't so shit and the groups will actually mean something instead of just a userbar. Shit, maybe even less than 10 usergroups. I would love to have a group on FK that is as active as a group on HF. But, that's not going to happen with the amount of groups there are.

I think that there is no point to this.

If you do not like user awards, then dont get them?

If I see an award I like, and I get it.. who's to blame.

It's 16x16 pixels. not that bad.

And without user awards, I'd not have a Muffin.

I vote no.

I actually agree with you, mister.

The other site is more professional just because of things like this.

Seeing as @Philly made it perfectly clear that usergroups will never be limited or deleted, I am imagining he feels the same way in regards to awards. So in other words, the chances of him even considering the deletion of any awards is very slim to none.

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree with your suggestion. We have 100+ awards. That is absolutely ridiculous for any forum. Not only does the awards page look laughably unprofessional, so does having users with four, five, and even six rows of awards. I pity the users that think it's "cool" to have that many awards. It's actually comical. If award deletion won't ever be taken into consideration, we could at least categorize the awards page in an effort to tidy things up. My award categorization suggestion can be found here.

I agree with this. The site would look 200x better without a shit ton of awards.

Yes it can be annoying but its their award they can do as they please. It would be unfair to just delete someones award they paid for. It would be more reasonable to put some rule in that stopped the spread of awards.
