I understand what you're trying to do here but I'm not sure genuine 'emos' will want to sign up for it. It just doesn't seem right. The name should provide a gory index page that looks almost satanic and like a cult. Not just a scratched up font, be more creative. The title under the main header is disappointing to. I'm not sure emo's would sign up for a forum that's generally in that name, it would come across degrading and quite frankly embarrassing. I certainly wouldn't tell my friends I am signed up on "The emo and scene forums". Also, it shouldn't have quote marks. Although you being one to say it does make it technically correct because it has been spoken from you directly. It still doesn't sit right. If there are a lot of people to call it that then it would make a lot more sense. Like a nickname I suppose. First impressions are key so make sure it looks appealing, it currently just looks like a basic forum layout with no creative design. I'm not sure what will attract people to sign up there. You should provide sections for things that the target audience want to discuss. People won't sign up then just make threads about these things, and if they do, it will not be to a massive degree. So if for example the emo's like smoking then make a section dedicated to that, they may be more intrigued. Finding an audience that are dedicated to them particular things may be difficult. So don't attempt to get people to sign up with giving them an award because they simply won't stick around. Try going to sites or youtube videos that have that audience and attempt to promote it there. I think the main thing is making the forum look really gory and satanic. Make it look evil, not basic.
