Debates section is dead

Well to start off, I don't know if this is supposed to go into the debates section, or wherever because of the fact the debates section is supposed to be about debates and not little rants. I want surfing around the categories trying to find something to read on and when i stumbled apon Debates I got so happy because I remember the old debates and discussions I used to have with many of the other members MONTHS ago. When I clicked on it, the last post in the debates section is 7/27, which was about 8 days ago. I'm preferring that the section should probably be more threads because no one is active of it, or there needs to be some more debates

I would start a thread but I have nothing to debate about, and I don't want there to post a low quality thread in there, because I used to love that category a while ago.

edit: can a mod or admin please move this to the suggestions/feedback forum, I just figured that out as soon as I posted this thread xD.

Why remove it? Just because it hasn't been used in 8 days doesn't mean you should remove it. A lot of other forums haven't been used in longer than that, it doesn't mean they need to be removed.

Find a topic that's already been started and go for it.

A lot of sections are dead. :/ As we grow our users we will have more revived sections. I'm really into the graphics section because i have been studying fineart/graphic design for years but unfortunately no one really goes there either! I currently have an offer up if you wanna check it out.

The section never was really too popular, but there is no need to remove it.

I dont recall it ever being that active.

It's not dead, there are just a lack of brains and knowledge (debating wise) on this website.
