I would like to discuss some topics that have been on my mind for quite some time.

Firstly,
How do you think Jagex came up with the company name 'Jagex', and the name of their main game, 'Runescape'?
Secondly,
What is the reason you come to these forums still, is it for the dumps, the material, the community ect.
Lastly,
How many of you guys still play Xbox live?

I honestly have no idea about Jagex, and Roonskape, I still come to these forums for the community, honestly I have an interest level of the material, that is equal to the amount of expressions Kristen Stewart has, and I asked the third one because I was thinking of getting my ole' 360 out, and starting to play again, but coincidently I'd have to make a new account, and I like to have other people to play with.

Well, how I think that how they came up with the name was they were Jagging and someone's ex came up and they jagged them and they made jagex. Or that's my way of seeing it. And the name of their game 'Runescape' because of the runes you could runecraft them and your scaping the land for things to do.
Secondly,
What is the reason you come to these forums still, is it for the dumps, the material, the community ect. I come for the community. I know shit tons of leechers come to the forums for the damn dumps and just leave the community to shits and giggles. I fucking love this community.
Lastly,
How many of you guys still play Xbox live? I used to but then I quit. It gets boring.. last Xbox game I played for like 24/7 was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I used to get 24-1 with only knifes every single game.

Yeah, all kinds of leechers, I personally think the Dump section should be removed as it only brings people who make accounts for 1 post, which makes the forums look bad, and dumps aren't that high quality if you know what I mean?

I noticed a spelling error in your title of this thread. You've spelt it "Dear evertvody" I believe you mean "Dear everybody" & I'm sorry for saying this but it was annoying me quite a bit.

I was not trying to seem like a dick or anything but I've just noticed it and it's annoying me. If you did leave it on purpose I'll just ignore it if not I'm going to go get a gun and shoot myself.

I remember reading soemthing about Jagex and Runescape but i can't remember.
I'm still here mostly for the community and some RS related stuff here and there (and marketplace..maybe). I don't play RS much but the community here is good to be part of. 1 full year
 
Runescape obviously is a hidden message from a developer who caught aids from Jagex. It means RUN-ESCAPE. I was about to post what Jagex actually meant but Mirage the sneaky bastard posted it before me. Also I play xbox still, we could game sometime I'm not the best but I try my best damnit.
 
i think runescape means run around the world/maps of the game and escape into a make believe world or escape from the real world. and i to used to play 360 but kind of stopped.

Jagex = Just About the Game Experience.
 
Jagex stands for like "Java Game something" lol. - RuneScape, no idea how hey got it, maybe from "Runes" to teleport, and think how armour is even named "Rune". Is this a coinincidence...or not!
