Deal With Caution?

Deal with Caution is a usergroup for the members who've scammed in the past. They can come back to the forums, when they have repaid to who they scammed. They will have to wear the "Deal with Caution" userbar for I think 6 months. Then Philly removes it.

So yeah, I think I'm right, don't quote me.

So does that mean if I was to do a deal i.e I sold something to someone with DWC, I'd have to go first? or since I'm dealing with caution I'd make them go first?

I don't want to come across seedy, I also don't want them to scam me lol

Just use a MM all the time. You can trust @Beam tho.

If both the users are nervous about the deal, then a middleman should be used.

I imagine if they were unbanned randomly (take that @Daimi for example) then they'd re-scam just to get banned again.. where as it seems like @Beam's was a complicated situation and is glad to be unbanned.

I remember @Illusion got unbanned then banned but I don't think they scammed out, they just weren't meant to be unbanned?

mitchell / @illusion got banned for a fucking stupid reason and should be let back

He did, I vouched on it, and then my privileges to view pardons.ban disputes and post there was taken away.

@gonna ... @beam was one of the biggest and well trusted middlemans of the day. I am sure he will regain his role soon. The issue was complicated but other than that he is very trustworthy xx

The only way I'd really deal with anyone anymore is to use my boy @Chill as a MM, other then that, don't even bother to try to sort out a deal with me.

Honestly no matter how complex their situation is they shouldn't be able to do the following : Deal in marketplace, middleman. You can't completely stop deals but you can ban them from happening with people wearing this UB and if they do happen to trade they should be punished.
It's like Driving. When you get banned from driving, they remove your ability to drive but you can still drive but if caught they'd be sentenced further.
Similarly these people dealt with items of value and had scammed therefor it's logical to remove their ability to trade.

but that is just one way of looking at it.

This has probably been the biggest unban wave I've witnessed. Many reputable people who scammed are unbanned now and the chances of them scamming again are still high.

That's what I thought, one of them replied to me saying I'd still go first to them and it ''doesn't change'' but it does change. Just because I'm a September 2015 member doesn't mean I'm more likely to scam than someone who already scammed. It's like if you commit a burglary, you're more likely to commit a burglary than some random guy you've just met.

They might have been wanting to quit the forum, put a pardon plea in just incase and when they got re-accepted plan to scam again.. I'd never deal with one as you are unaware if you're there next planned scam-out, I wouldn't go first to any of them let alone ever deal with one.

If we lose the ability to pm/see/post in marketplace everyone who was unbanned will more than likely go inactive. If you seriously think this userbar removes my right to deal fairly that is pretty lame.
