Get TWO or more people.

Have one throw away his backpack, and to put everything he wants to keep in his inventory.

Put everything in the backpack they want duped that wasn't thrown away.

Set that backpack on the ground and have both people hover over the "Take Backup" scroll wheel option.

Disconnect and reconnect to the same server before touching any gear in your backpack.

You now have two copies of the backpack on each others backs.

Enjoy the duped items.
 

I meant why did you have to exploit a bug in a really good game. Although saying that it will never get patched if people don't find them.
 

I like sharing knowledge with comrades.

That would defeat the whole purpose of me asking wouldn't it?
 

Yes, I was asking for a opinion from someone before I waste my time trying to look up a game. A simple answer would have been quicker than me wasting my time arguing with you.
 
So you put the backpack full of the item you want to dupe on the ground, then you both hold the scroll menu over it and select "pick up backpack". While it's highlighted, hit escape, then select disconnect? Do you have to go all the way to the choose server menu, or can go to the server landing page where you hit "ok" to receive data and relog?
