Two bank robbers used makeshift rope to escape from a high-rise jail in Chicago. They descended almost 20 stories to escape. This "makeshift rope" was made out of bed sheets.
Anyone see that one episode of MythBusters where they did that?



Apparently these two guys were the first inmates to escape from the federal facility in nearly two decades. (Not long enough if you ask me.) And one of them was only in jail for a week (I think).

If only you could teleport like in RS. Well... they would put you under teleblock then.

Nah, they would just make it so you couldn't teleport in that area. Oh, and there would be no violent crime or murders because they could make everywhere a no-combat zone. But I imagine if real life was like Runescape, then there would be a lot more thieving. Got to get that xp!
 
However, the jail wouldn't be made by jagex, so they won't be able to control the area effects. Just like IRL where the jail isn't controlled by God.
 

And also violence wouldn't be too bad! You would just respawn upon death ;3
 
Also you could buy your money with some astral currency!

On topic:
I saw the MythBusters episode, if I remember correctly, they were able to escape.
 

Yep, maybe that is what gave these guys the idea to do it. lol. They were probably stealing a tv that just happened to have it on.
