These days you should treat the email linked to your RS account(s) as if they're are passwords.
Not only do you become a target for recovering, you'll also be at risk of being added to a RS mailing list, where people will email phishers.

If you feel your RS account emails are a bit too known just create a new email and trade them over. Using fake info on the new email and never linking it to you're other emails/website accounts will make it pretty damn impossible for someone to get a successful dox on you for RS related email.
