Csgo issue pls help...

So i have been playing csgo perfectly fine on my main account with no issues. I wanted a new account with an older tenure so I bought one with the 5 year coin and everything.

Only issue is I can't search for competitive matches whatsoever from the new account. The time just keeps going up I have even waited 45 minutes. Casual games are fine.

I can switch back to my main and it works perfect, just not on the new account.

Things I have tried

-restoring router
-reinstalling csgo
-restarting game/steam


any help pls?

Maybe the account is banned from competitive? I don't have CS:GO and I've only played it a few times but that sounds like the only logical issue to me.

Yeah I only have a Mac atm, as my father is re-negotiating his contract.
If it goes through right then I will be getting a PC worth like $5500
