CS 1.6 or Source

I'm planning on making a CS clan over summer, its not gonna be a fun clan, but a semi serious clan meaning we should be entering online comps and tournaments etc.

It's not my first clan, Ive made a few but because they were only fun I didn't get the commitment I wanted. So if your interested please let me know, would much prefer if you could speak fluent English and can be play when needed.

We are looking for 5-10 players and a manager.
2 teams of 5, 1st team and a reserve team
Manager works with me in organizing events and monitors gameplay etc.

Im very interested havent been a member of a clan for a long time and i can handle being manager if nobody else can.
but if thers a match between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM please let me know in advance so that i can book time off work

I would have to go with source! I play it more, but I havent really tried 1.6 yet O_O

Going to ask around and see whats better for clans as Ive always played 1.6 with my clans.

i have source and 1.6 i think but im not sure wich is best
and i will start a contest when we have decided wich is best and the winer will get a free copy

Well doing a bit of research, it looks like most ED (Enemy Down), 1.6 ladders dont exists. Also since I played a few years ago, ive found the game isnt as active as it was, most likely due to the rise in popularity of the CoD games and Battlefield.

Source still seems to be quite active with quite alot of high end ladders etc. Still need to so a bit more research and check on one of the best 1.6 clans, SK Gaming.
