Hello, my computer that I recently build a couple of days ago keeps on crashing randomly, it will run perfectly fine, then will suddenly crash and give me the message that the CPU overheating, the CPU Fan is working though..

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Sorry for the bump.

Some PCs tend to overheat sometimes, like my old Compaq laptop(Presario CQ60). If it's just flat on a table, heat can build up, thus can lead to your problem. Try stacking erasers on the stubs on the bottom corners of your laptop, heat should escape.

If this problem though is continuous, there must be a problem with your CPU. My father had a Compaq Presario CQ60 which overheated CONSTANTLY.

My laptop has been doing the same lately. I literally sit in front of a fan and let the wind distribute through the laptop. It seems to work! :)
