It doesn't look bad.
But I don't like the overall shape of the cat it self.
It just looks too unnatural and doesn't seem like a good illustration of a cat.
Although I do like the concept and maybe you could make this black and white while having some features coloured to make it stand out.
The purple is nice but its so typical of space related things to be a 'darkmatter' purple colour.
