Seeming as @[The Elite] will not be making any more posting contests (THANK GOD), here are some contest ideas that I've though of:
  • Scavenger hunt
  • RuneScape InGame event (NOT PKING, NOT P2P)
  • Guess who
  • Story contest
  • Singing contest

These are just some of my ideas, if needed I can explain further.

i think this is a good idea.. Just making a video which either Promotes Runegear, or then a Machinima in Runescape :)

People who want to participate in the contst make a video of them singing a specific song.
 
What about a editing contest, or the best picture of the month.
 
How about a MultiMedia contest :p So Singing, Video, Picture.. you decide and whatever gets most Votes for "Winner"

and you cant vote for your own :D Then it makes it interesting
 
It's got to be something everyone can do. TBH any media kind of things people can have a huge advantage over. Needs to be something fair.
 
I can't sing lol, you'd win, grade 8 singing haha. XD
 
* Scavenger hunt- Basically like the easter egg thing?
* RuneScape InGame event (NOT PKING, NOT P2P)- It would have to not really on any skills, otherwise 138's would control it.
* Guess who- What?
* Story contest- Good potential I think, just have to be sure it's original xD.
* Singing contest- We're a bunch of guys, I don't think this would go to well >.<. Even though I'd win...

It wouldn't be fair. Shouldn't really be considered. A video contest, can be done by ANYBODY.

Record with hypercam, put in a editing program, (95% computers have them.) and publish on a media sharing site. (Youtube,Vevo, etc.)
 
Like I said, people who would like to participate can, and the people that can't, but want to, I'm sure the community will help them. (I will)

So a RG contest that not everyone can take part in? Nice.
 
Its good but the main reason is for the forum to grow, the posting contest is perfect but theres always a certain few that fuck it.

also the elite doesnt play rs.
 
How about this idea ?

You must make a runescape tutorial over anything which you find useful and helpful to other members.

Create a tutorial and organize your thread as much as possible to make it look perfect. (Add Pictures which will make it better!)

The best tutorial wins.

This will also help the new forum members and let them read the tuts!

It's not a bad idea but better than "singing,editing,GFX or any simliar"
Why? : Cause that sections you need to be good at it. I bet alot here are good at GFX or Video editing and if they get that they will control it.

So making tutorials is fair to all because all have to find something good to make a tut about!
