Connected but no internet?

On my main PC that hosts the internet connection/router, it 95 % of the time says something about me being connected but there is not internet connection.

Is there anyway to fix this?

My main PC's internet also goes down constantly. it's really irritating.
 
Try calling your provider, they can most likely answer your question the fastest.
 
Some service providers charge you a bunch, some are free.
When your internet goes down does it still say it's connected and receiving MBps?
Or does it just cut out entirely.

I would, but, my mother would have to do it. I have been telling her to call for the longest time, yet she doesn't do it.

I guess there is no easy fix. I have been on this crappy public wifi for about 2 hours now and i have to say, it's the slowest connection i ever had.
 
Why does your mom have to call? All you would need to say is your phone number and they can pull up your account most likely. You don't need personal information for customer support.
 
Try making sure the cables that is coonected to your modem are plugged in the right spot I had this similar problem a month ago
