Computer Forums; Additional Sub-Topics

Hello MF Community,

I was reading all the forums and seeing which one I could be actively posting. In the Computers section, it would be a little more clear if you make additional sub-topics like:

  • Windows 7 & Vista
  • Macintosh OS
  • Linux Ubuntu

It will create simplicity and the new threads will be posted for the respective Operating System Sub-Topic.

Just a suggestion, hoping to hear back from you all.

Not a bad idea. I was kind of thinking the same thing myself.
It's all up to Crayo and LMCampbell, though.
 
The reason I wanted it was because if we are going to post tutorials or support or tips then they should be classified into its own section.
 
To be honest I wouldn't say it's active enough to have sub-forums. Also it kind of separates that part of the community, I'm not a great fan of sub-forums for that reason. I don't think the Computer section has got to the point where it's congested really, do you?

If many people want this I suppose we'll add it, but I don't really see a need. Will leave the thread open for debate.

Edit: Just saw that you wanted to post tuts, we could add thread prefixes? (Tags at the beggining of the title which aren't clickable, we could have the 3 prefixes you've listed in OP).
 
True! I guess the members will decide.
 
Hmm... That is actually a pretty good idea.
 
I will test it once I post my Cider Port Mac tutorial.
 
I agree with you Noreturn. I guess that this thread should be closed till the time we get more activity in the section.
