cold/flu type of sickness

when you guys are sick with a cold or flu what do you do to soothe your throat, get rid of mucus, and just feel better overall?
i know most of the answers will be obvious things, i'm asking for the more unheard of options one's i haven't tried yet.
tried:
-tea (hate it)
-gargle salt water (hate it as well)
-vitamins
-crackers and water
-rest
give me some more suggestions on what i could do to feel somewhat better
 
You can buy very thick honey, and swallow it. That usually helps if you haven't heard of that.
Or if its any better buy Maraschino cherries and eat that, its veery thick though, and tastes good. You shouldn't have a sore throat for a while, it bumbs the pain in a way. Glad I can help if I did.
 
if you have severe pain in your throat or head take some painkillers or something like ibuprofen, or maybe try to get some amoxicillin prescribed to you if you have a respiratory infection.

nah just a bad cold

it's been a while

i can't stand the taste of cherries
it makes me cringe
i'll try some honey tea or just straight honey off a spoon
 
Smoke some weed and relax, when I had mono that's all I did.

i don't smoke
 
Pain meds and sprite, as well as sleep.
 
Smoke some bud or see a doctor to prescribe you something.

Ah smoking clears sinuses for me honestly. But try getting something meds from a doc broski. GL feel better.

just home remedies
i hate the side effects that meds give me
