Help this trap lord out san

That's not translucent in that picture. It's just colored the same as the wallpaper. The asset files have been replaced. You can use http://www.obsidianmenubar.com/ to go black or you can search for shit on deviantart, like: http://ctf0.deviantart.com/art/Theme-Nimbus-For-Mavericks-419476835

The clock in the middle of the menubar is powered by http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/

Not sure if this is what you were looking for but this is all that I could find.

RE: Mac Help

You would have to change the entire theme on your Mac in order to make it look like that.

Hey, mate.

Firstly, I will need you to go to the Apple Menu.

After that, click "About this Mac"

Click on "More info"

This should bring up the System Profiler. Next, you will need to click on "System Report and then "Graphics/Displays" and look at the lines.

Once you have done this, print screen it and send it to me.

Okay, just checking. Now, for you to have a transparent menu-bar you will need to have an entirely different theme for your Mac. Is that okay with you?

Well I don't mind trying it out to see what it's like, so no I don't mind

Could you now tell me what version of OS you're running? (Leopard, Snow Leopard, Lion, etc).

I just upgraded to Mavericks

Alright, that is good and bad news. The bad news is that if you were on previous versions it could've worked easier. The good news is that, there is a program to create your own theme and menu-bar. It is called "Flavours". I have no experience with it, and after tampering with it, it seems legitimately intermediate. I assume you can do it. If you want the download link, let me know.
