RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

Read this carefully:

RSBuddy is a registered company in the UK.

If Arbiter the owner of RSBuddy and JacMob decided to infect their client with a keylogger, they could get sued for $10,000 +

I think they are pretty untraceable.

I think the name is in their ToS.

RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

Jacob registered RsBuddy under his company Automaton, Inc. in the UK...if there were any malicious code whatsoever he could be held liable for serious legal fines...trust me, this client is completely safe.

It's safe for now. They are registered.

I doubt that. They WILL infect it. I am 90 % sure.

Honestly, you have no evidence to be making assumptions like that. Sure, we are entitled to an OPINION, but running around saying that you are "100%" sure they will infect it is retarded.

Now, I am not arguing saying they wont, but you take that chance using anything really. What, you think because you are using the Nexus client that you are safe? Sure, they chances are slim-none, but all it takes is for that one person to gain access to the power in order to execute it.

So sure, argue that you think it will get infected, I still prefer it over Powerbot and Nexus.

Powerbot = shitty ass scripts, and if there is good ones, you have to search for it. Also, they have already been backdoored, so why even take the chances.

Nexus = over-hyped bots that aren't that good. Yeah, a good amount of them kick-ass, but you have to buy them or steal the auths.

RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

Are you honestly that fucking mentally retarded? My god...

Edit: I guess you are, so here goes your little Java lesson...

The Logger class in Java is for keeping LOG FILES ... not for keylogging you down syndrome fucktard. People like you piss me off, you have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.

The "Logger" you are inferring is a keylogger is actually for logging...
The bottom of the bot has a "log" which is why this is created. It is just for printing out information, but rather than using a "print" it is just sending the text to the logger...
Code:
log("Starting up script...");
log.warning("OMG A WARNING!?");
log.severe("SHIT NIKKA WE FOUND A RETARD.");
^ Sends text to the logger that was created.

Now, the following bit of information you put was about the keylistener. You seem to think that Bots are normal clients like as if you were playing it from a web browser... that isn't the case. The client is "locked" in a sense, meaning if the key listener wasn't there, you would not be able to type, rotate the screen, or do anything that you normally use a keyboard for.

Don't believe me? Try this: Hold down the arrow key on the RSBuddy client, then click off of the client to unset the focus... OMG... the client keeps spinning even though you took your finger off the button... why is this???? Because the keylistener received the event for the key down, but not the key up because the client was not in focus. It also has a mouse listener implemented so that the RSBuddy mouse will follow your mouse...

tl;dr: the logger is for adding lines to the debug; the client is locked, the listeners capture your keys, and reproduce them into the client.

Jeez people like you make me have no faith in humanity. I signed up on this forum just to make this post. Enjoy. Now kill yourself.[/code]

You clearly need to chill out.

RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

The logger is for the log window at the bottom. RSBot has the same code.

The keylistener is so that way it can type into the RS applet.

There is zero malicious code and everything got infected from using PowerBot. It just takes one person a long time to go through 14k or so accounts so the delay between infection and looting is very different.

1. You just signed up on this forum implying you are Gh0$t, no your low life scum, I did not believe you and if you are gh0$t, then this is just proof as he was working with arbiter if my post is true, he also asked for help with java coding, which I doubt you need.
2. Did you sign up just to correct me? Even though OP says that my java skill is limited.

Btw, Gh0$t don't spell his name "Gh0st", fail more?

Maxie, I admire you confidence but it goes short when you have no proof other then someone who goes around trolling every thread.

You said it yourself, your Java skills are limited, meaning you may have no idea what you are even looking for.

RsBuddy is a REGISTERED company right now, meaning the chances of something happening are very slim. They are also coming out with premium scripts soon, meaning they are thinking of business.

You could do 1 huge hack and get a few billion RSGP. Or you could release premium scripts and make much more money in the long run especially when your reliability and reputation increase.

So quit making these huge assumptions when it's clear you have no idea what you're even talking about.

RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

I guess I should do that for now on, but they could just frame someone else or have someone they know to infect them? Just a thought.

RE: If you use RSBuddy, be a little bit careful. Anyone experienced in java? Help please.

Maxie, the more you keep posting, the more ignorant it's making you look. Grow up. If you did your research, then you would realize that what Gh0sT and NoEffex are saying IS accurate. Leave it alone and stop making a big deal out of it.
