Yulin Festival in China, it is when they celebrate by torturing, slaughtering, boiling alive dogs and cats.​
One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen and it makes me very sad.​

Well its in the name of culture.
Some religions and other people also do similar things and we don't bat an eye.

I don't think boiling a live dog, chained attached to the car being dragged, and torturing is normal. At least put the dog to painless death than have it endure extreme pain.
 
To be honest that's disgraceful. I'm glad Anime isn't Chinese otherwise I'd have to associate with things that these people like.

There's a line. I understand in some cultures they eat dogs. But putting them through countless amounts of pain is fucking outrageous.

We are talking about modern day societies, so what they eat dog I respect that, but fucking torturing them, thats fucked.

Go research about how western countries treat livestock which is sometimes even worse, and since your from the U.K I'm pretty sure you know about the practice in which they blowtorch cow's.
