I wouldn't like it installed to be honest. People find it cool and all, but it actually drops activity.
The status box, I personally haven't made some threads because I've asked some things in the status box and people have answered there too.
I don't support. Drops activity and we don't want to drop it anymore. Maybe when we are flooded with members
Example, people have a question "how do I use a RAT? Can anyone help me set it up? What are the basics of a RAT". Instead of going to "Computer Discussion" and make a thread asking for help, they could simply go to the chat box, ask for help there and have someone say "yes I'll help you" right there too. And that would have prevented a thread, a few posts, and probably one of those posts could be a person explaining how RATs work, what they're used for, etc.
Edit:
Same with status box, Glen could have easily asked in there "who would like a chat box?" all of this would have happened, but in the status box and not here.
With all due respect, installing a shout box is the dumbest fucking move possible. All it does is draw people away from posting, which clearly barely happens around here anyway.
This thread has been set to as [SOLVED]. This means that the thread has been solved according to Management. If you disagree, please contact Management in relation to this.
Do you mean "like Bugabuse" as in we will have a resident fuck-face who lives in the chat box 24/7 with a name that starts with an English "J"? To that I say No.
