Hey, guys. Just a quick announcement to keep you guys updated.

First, I would like to apologize for not posting much recently as I have been extremely busy in real life with college.

I realize that there have been many changes recently and that Rune Gear may not feel the same. However, there are still more changes on the way and hopefully we can get Rune Gear on the right path.

I will be taking over as manager of Rune Gear. I am hoping to have more time to put into this site within the next few weeks.

I would appreciate everyone's help greatly with the decision making. By this I mean I want to know what you guys want. If you have an idea let me know. If you have certain aspirations for this forum/site, don't hold back.

@"Daniel", I am not sure and I don't know if it really was a "rage quit".

@"Reaper", I will let the majority be the deciding factor in things like that. At the very least VIP users could have the option to choose between the two.

If anything has been done let me see it. And by see it I want to see activity not changes in forums looks

Not that they're bad, but I don't see any activity difference tbh.

What would make you want to be more active on here? Once questions like that are answered, things can start falling into place.

So many changes to appearance,no change on community...
how about applying the forum theme to the rg homepage?looks kind of spastic.

Excellent point. They look entirely different from one another. This will need to be corrected.
 

Find a more simplistic theme that doesn't lag when I scroll down.
Add content somehow
Make more use of existing pages
Make less subforums so certain unused forums doesn't look like a wasteland.
 
I don't see what DC can do that Carbon couldn't (no offense DC, but good luck).




Anyway, fix the status box. I can't use it at the moment.
And get rid of the main page. It's scrappy and pointless. Hell, it's not even finished.

@"Storm", I would not say that I am more qualified than anyone else here. However, I will do what I can if given the time and even more so with help from you guys.

I honestly believe if you're going to keep this theme that you should remove the portal, like previously stated.
I've also given you other suggestions.
I just don't quite understand why the theme is attempting to be changed when it's the activity that need boosting. The donations towards the theme could have gone towards advertisements, contests to bring in newly registered members, etc.
 
I really like this! I've been saying this all along.
Although I thought Carbon was doing a good job and would be good if he was also Management again.


I believe the theme was only $20? that wouldn't have gone very far.
 
One of the priorities is fixing this theme up until it is complete and where it needs to be. The rest of the website will need to be changed, updated, or removed temporarily. This is because it is mostly old content, it hasn't been updated in ages, and it doesn't match this theme at all.

Once this theme is complete, try it out and see if you guys like it. I think it is a very nice them, it just needs some work.

I also like the idea that has been given to me by some people, like @"Joshua", which is to have signatures made to advertise Rune Gear with. If anyone wants to try making one for us, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I will talk to some people who I consider very good with graphics.

Keep the suggestions coming guys. I appreciate the messages I have been receiving so far.
