This idea I gained from another thread I made about moderator additions earlier.

Racial slurs like 'N*gger', I don't even want to say it for clear purposes, should be censored. No matter who it is coming from, these types of words appear as unprofessional to a forum and offensive. As a community, we must strive to present ourselves professionally to those watching and debating whether or not to sign up and become apart.
 
They already are censored. But I use them all the time so I dont like it
 
I think it is fine. I don't even know anyone black on the site that is offended. I don't know anyone who says n*gger too. They generally say nigga, nigguh, niblet, and of course; the infamous nig.
 
I'm talking about n*gga then, that hasn't been and too many are using the term. Just this, and all should be well. If anything else pops up then I will get at it.

If someone is offended they can always PM me or another staff member and we will take care of it.

I think there shouldn't be any censorship of words at all. They'll find an alternative way of saying it somehow; it's essentially pointless seeing how exploitative it is with all the loopholes attached. Besides, if they post something offensive, they'll most likely be given an infraction and their post will get junked.

Most of us are above the age of 13, and use these "bad" words on a daily basis.

You are all missing the real point. They may not be offensive but do not come off as professional.
 
I don't see any other site censoring words. Any site that does must have an immature enough member base that they have to go and censor words like "Nigg*er" and "Fagg*t", even though those words are censored here as well.
I'm not saying this site has all mature members at all, I'm just saying most of us don't really seem to give a fuck about it and can move on after seeing the word for 2 seconds.
 
I think it is stupid as fuck to block out words. It is the internet. Who cares about professionalism on a forum. This isn't a college essay.

Flaming is against the rules,if I'm not wrong,and that is the bottom line,no need to sensor words, the internet is free.
