My mom did the same exact thing to me just within a different scenario. Just talk to your mom admit that you did it and see what she says. Theres really nothing you can do about it and you must no when ever you smoke or something like that in all honesty its only a matter of time before you are caught by your parents or someone else. Just be honest with her and explain your opinions on Weed as well as why you do it and how often. But to be honest you seem kind of young...

There is nothing you can do. Just take your punishment and when she makes you feel guilty try to show some remorse. Dont smoke for a while because she will be checking you (looking at your eyes).

To be completely honest bro, there's nothing wrong with weed when you're older. Say you go out fishing and camping with your mates, fine to have a bit if you're on a holiday. But you shouldn't be doing it at your age dude, i know it may sound corny, but the best medicine for depressing is laughter, and there's heaps of things and people on youtube and such that are willing to make you laugh.

Another problem is, if you keep smoking now and get addicted to it, if you ever wanted to get an apprenticeship once you're a bit older, you're fucked. No chance in hell they're going to hire some highschool kid who's high all the time.

Oh, and to answer your question. Tell her honestly why you do it. Don't run off on a random tangent trying to explain how good it is, because as much as you want to believe that and trust the 'scientists' who proved it, scientists also probably proved that fucking animals is good for your well being or some shit. Not everything said by a 'scientist' is actually scientifically proven. For one, you're inhaling smoke which isn't good for your lungs, and to be doing a drug like that at such a young age which makes you feel disorientated, you could be just fucking with your brain and that's not good either.

TL;DR There's no reason you have to do it, many other things can help depression. Tell her straightforward why you feel you need to do it, and don't try to prove that it's 'good' to her.

its always better to tell her up front instead of her finding out by her self. Your only 13 which is prettttty young to be smoking weed. LOL next time if you do it inside get a toilet paper cylinder and stuff it with dryer sheets then blow the smoke into the cylinder, works like a charm

There is nothing you or anyone else can say or do to ease the mind of someone against marijuana. If you don't plan on quitting, and see it for what it really is be straight up with her. Lying will only dig a deeper hole in the long run. Like you said she already knows, so now on top of her finding out you smoke she also knows you are lying to her.

Or you can just get a smokebuddy for pretty cheap. But as I said previously hiding it is not the way to go imo.

@Singer Marijuana isn't addicting.

Not sure why everyone keeps saying you're too young, I have friends whose brothers smoked weed at 8-9, it's ridiculous.

I also must agree with everyone else, come clean and smoke outside. I find it hard to believe it's too hot to go outside for a smoke for a few minutes.

Maybe stop disrespecting your mom and go outside with your dime bag kiddo.

It's kind of hard to explain to your mom that her 13 year old son is smoking pot. Just tell her you tried it once and won't do it again.
