I really unsure where to start someone help me I need one tonight I'm gonna go to bestbuy

JL audio is great. You could get two 10's or two 12's with an amp and be set. Then just get a decent deck for like 50. You'll need to buy the wiring kit for the subs and amp as well. It will come with all the wires you need. Or take it to an audio shop nearby and have them hook it up. Good luck man

For $300 I would suggest either Sundown/Fi/Obsidian

2 12" I would say a 4,000 watt amp at least and so the music isn't drowned out get some tweeters. I suggest Memphis tweeters.

I just got in my new Subs that I just bought. 2 Alpine Type-R SWR-12D4 12".

Only have one out and the other one is still in the box but here is a picture that I just took.

I also got a Alpine MRX‑M110 amp and a new head unit and it cost me around 900$ in total with shipping.

I ordered the subs and the amp from 2 different sites but I think you should use this site.

http://www.crutchfield.com/

They shipped it free with 2 day shipping. Just get a 12 and a nice box and a good amp and it should rattle. With free shipping you can probably get all of it for 300-400$.

@187 Alpine is good for clear bass but horrible for competition and prolonged use. Believe me I had 2 15"s
Where as you can get Sundown for a little cheaper and 3x more bass.

My friend has a single sundown 15" and 2 amps on it and 2 10"s sounds better then it imo.

I don't recommend buying from retail stores, you are better off ordering from the sites directly.

Like Kickers, they are a decent brand. But you get the "walmart Kickers" and they blow within 2 hours.

Most shit sold at retails stores are garbage.

There are different outputs.

I can go get a 10" with 5x more output than a 18". You have to know what you are getting and then not only does the actual sub factor in but so does the brand of amp/watts/hookup.
