Can't join games on GTA 4

I just bought GTA 4 today off steam and I'm trying to play multiplayer. Every time I try to join a game it says loading and then it says disconnected from game session. Can anyone help?
 
I don't play steam or compter games. But try restarting your router or computer. Wouldnt hurt to try.
