Can you buy membership with a VISA gift card...?

Im just curious if you can pay for RuneScape membership with one of these VISA gift cards. Im in Canada, so coming across pins for sale in-stores are a pain, and i'd prefer to get it charged monthly rather than paying for a few months of membership all at once. If you don't know what im talking about, here is a picture of one:

Any information is appreciated.
 
Yes because it's a type of credit card.
 
@Nickvsyou: I have previously tried using one with my Paypal account, and it won't work.
@Exosphere: Have you actually tried it yourself..? Because I have had issues with buying shit with them before...

Anyway, I usually use Visa giftcards all the time with my paypal, and it works fine. You just attach it to your paypal, send the money, and it sends it from the balance on the card, even though you have $0.00 or whatever in your paypal.
The ones I use look a bit different, though, but it should still work the same.

Oops, spelling error in my post. Fixed that. =)

Yeah, it should work fine. After you're done, you can just discard the card, but I personally keep them to add onto things where you need a card to activate the service. I add the card, but they can't charge me shit, lol, there's nothing left on the card.

Yes, you use it as a visa credit card. Enjoy
