My internet sucks, but it's fast enough for downloading.

 
Well I guess you couldn't live here with the shitty internet that ISPs provide. Even though mine is faster than like 80% of the rest of the country the max download speed I'll get is 520kb/s.

Even with an ethernet cord?

I get like 54Mbps Wifi, and with a ethernet I get 100Mbps.
 

I don't know why, but it makes no difference if I plug the ethernet cable. I think it is because I'm really close of the router, only like 3 meters away.

With my internet i get 300MPS on wifi, with cable i get 1GPS
