You guys.. This is a rare-name guide.
The types of rare accounts:
1) 1 letter names. These are the rarest of rare, you can only have 26 of these + 0-9.
2) Single Word Names:The second greatest names you could have if the word is right, these names are the single, non-plural names of common items. An example would be Life, Death, Rune, Run, Hot, Cold, Killer, etc. These are all correctly spelt, 1 of a kind names.
3) 2 letter names. These used to be extremely rare and uncommon before Jagex decided to delete a ton of account names., now not quite as rare. These names are still hard to come by. These are 2 letter key combinations only, Dq, Bf, Gf, Oh, Ha, etc.
4) 3 letter names. These were also really rare, but if you have one of these that means something, as the same with 2 letters, then you have a really rare name. Examples of these names would be Hot, lol, omg, bad, run, etc.
5) Common NPC names: Pretty straight forward, common NPC names such as Vanakka, the slayer master/tutorial person. Romeo, commonly known either way. Bob, etc.
7) Common ITEM names: Basically, common item names for items in-game. Potion, Rocktail, Iron, etc. Also single-word names, but items in-game.
7) Multi-Spaced names.These used to be less rare than 2 letters, and 3 letters, but since Jagex made a display update where they deleted all names of inactive accounts, 2-3 letters were re-nameable, while you still couldn’t use multi-spaced names. Examples of these names are P———-K, L—–o—-l, etc. (A little fact as I saw it myself: The username P————-K I did see myself, or something like that, so some may still be used as those are the PK’ing pures of RuneScape.)
And.. What a rare name is not!
1) Misspelled normal names: Now, this is the typical wannabe rare name account.. This would be something where someone would make their name “Gh3tt0″ or something like that. Where as Ghetto would be rare, but having letters replaced with numbers makes your account a non-rare.
2) 4 letter names: These are not rare! It is very easy to make random 4 letter names… Please get out with the 4 letters for $1/.50c threads. Examples of these are just gdhn, doif, etc. They are garbage.
3) Very uncommon: A name like this, someone will be so desperate for a rare name account, they have to go and do something like… Look to the back of the dictionary for a really hard 10 letter+ name, then go on the Internet and translate it to Japanese, and be like check that out guys my name is catalyst in Japanese, or something.
