It's at 30degrees right now, polar days sadly. Waiting for winter for the nights to come back lol during winter we only get maybe 3hours of light. Then the summer, no darkness till it gets close to winter. @Alpha

What r the houses like in Alaska are they the same as regular houses or do they look different to adapt to the tempature.

Our average temp is between 60 and 80. It's just kind of getting close to winter. Yes I've lived/ born here all my life. Half Eskimo and 13 other things but mostly German.
@Lord depends where you live in Alaska. Fairbanks, Ancchorage, Wasilla, etc are somewhat similar except the houses are more insulated and what not. Now the villages where I'm currently at are somewhat ok but not the best. For example, some places like a place called Kotzebue just got 3G like 3months ago, costs are very high. $10 for a gallon of milk. Jobs are amazing though, minimum wage is $14 and depending what native corp you're with you get either 4 checks a year and each check ranging from 1k to 5k. Job I'm currently applying for will pay $50 an hour
