Blue screen error

Sometimes, I encounter a 'blue screen error' with my laptop. What does this possibly mean? How do I fix such problem?

This is probably the blue screen of death. It usually has something to do with a hardware error.

Blue Screen Error is caused due to various reasons. But, most of the times, its because of the hardware problems as said earlier. It may also occur if some of your system file goes missing due to viruses.

Mine did it after a restart once, just wait a minute and it load. Sense then no problems with it!

I would recommend noting down the code that appears when you experience a 'BSOD', you can then use various tools to distinguish what the problem is. However, mostly its nothing to worry about.

Becareful, my computer would do this every once in a while, then one day I rebooted it and it had the Blue Screen of Death permanently.

Thanks for all the information. I get the feeling that it's a hardware issue...I have observed that my laptop gets very hot, then it shuts down and the blue screen error appears. Might as well have it checked at the repair center.

May be there's something wrong with the cooler? Don't try to check it yourself though. Get it to a repair center. Good Luck.

It could mean rootkit, virus or just a hardware fault. Scan with malwarebytes.
