Thinking of making a blog. Just something that will let people keep up with me and maybe get some tips on the topics I'm interested in: CS, math, physics.

Do you think this is a good idea? I already purchased two domains, talkincode.net and brockshelton.com
 
TBH, I made a blog for about a week, it failed.
I say don't waste your time but whatever.
 
I wouldn't bother personally. Blogs are hard to maintain, you need very regular content to keep everyone interested. The initial promotion of a blog also takes a lot of time and hard work too. In my opinion, it's not worth it.
 
Not many people are interested in blogs unless your actually a someone, like mark zuckerberg.

An alternative to blogging would be Twitter. I know it sounds a little stupid, but it's much easier to control and maintain. If you attract people who will follow you and you post interesting tweets, it will work out for you.
