Thanks to a team of scientists from the US, the world could soon come face to face with biodegradable electronics.

Apparently, the technology developed by these researchers would make it possible for an awful lot of items that are presently frowned upon by environmentalists to simply dissolve after a certain period.

The rate of dissolution is controlled by the structure of the silk used to encapsulate these transient electronics.

It is not difficult to guess that, as a result of this characteristic, their environmental impact would be pretty much inexistent.

Sources report that, up until now, the scientists have used this technology to developed transistors, diodes, temperature sensors and solar cells, all of which degraded completely in relatively small amounts of water.

Even though I think we should just keep the electronics the way they are, then I was thinking this would help the earth.

Man that would be crazy. Bury your old iPhone and go back the next year and its gone o.o
