So I wanted to talk a little about bids when buying stuff. What's the point of a bid if nobody will sell their stuff for less than the buyout price? The bid is basically pointless. What do you guys think about this?

That's not true actually. If someone didn't want to get in a bidding war they could just do the buyout.

I get what you mean, everyone bids like $25 when there is already a bid of $100. There wouldn't really be a way to take the system out however.

What I'm saying is if someone bids $30 with a buy out of $80, nobody will sell their item for $30...

When someone puts a "BIN" it doesn't necessarily mean that's the amount they want no matter what. It means that's the buy it NOW price. Bids are still welcomed, and the highest bid USUALLY wins. Or you can just BIN.
Hope that made sense.
