Best web host?

I'm looking for the best web host with little to no lag. I'm thinking of going with godaddy, but I'm not sure.

Personally I've used biz.nf in the past, great company! They seem to always offer a promotion of $10 for unlimited hosting for 1 website (and 5-subdomains) for a year, and after that it returns to original price ($40-80, cannot remember) so that could be great!
Also included in that deal is a free domain! Just be sure to pay the extra money for WhoIS privacy, or sign up with fake information because otherwise your info will be leaked. That's just common sense but I'm just looking out for you man.

The first two are for sure, especially cloud back ups, as you never know what may happen. As for the SEO thing, I'd try that for a month and see how it goes, if you don't see a big difference drop it.

Not really the best one out there I think but with Dreamhost, I'm pretty much satisfied. No complaints so far for 2 years straight now.

for VPS ovh.com is best.

i tried godaddy but it's shit and support is also shit.
