Best Text App?

I just got my iPod 5th Gen and I'm looking around for a texting app (for texting real phone numbers), but there's a slew of them. TextNow, TextMe, TextFree, and Textie to name a few.

The only one I've really gotten into was TextPlus, all the other ones have flaws. The only flaw TextPlus really has is it's loading time.

I use textfree its pretty nice. i also have a 5th gen ipod!

I use Textme on my iPod touch 4th gen, but sometimes it's slow and doesn't like to open messages right away. Could be the slow iPod though haha

I use Viber and Whatsapp! The second one works like a charm. You can also call using Viber for free!

I used TextPlus on my old ass 1st gen iPod lol. Texted my cousins with it

I use TextNow. I don't see anything wrong with it.
