As fate would have it, I'm attracted to her now. It's sometimes awkward to carry on conversations we used to do all the time awhile ago. Anyone got any advice for this? She is older than me.

Just go for it dude. Chances are she's attracted to you if she is good friends with you. I had a best friend at one point who never showed attractions towards me, but ended up being my girlfriend for a year and a half. Also if you guys are already best friends you would feel comfortable around her.

Well, she is older than me, that's also a disadvantage

How much older? IF you love her truly, ask her out.

Not much of a difference but girls prefer older guys. So you do have a disadvantage maybe you should just tell her.

Well, I hinted it. She posted a pic of herself and I said she's pretty, and she said that I am cute as well. And she said we have the same relationship feelings. Hmm

That's the point right there. "Same relationship feelings" as in how you two feel about each other currently. Also she said you are cute instead of adorable; another hint that she isn't friend zoning you. Believe me in this situation that you have to break the ice. She seems like she is shy, but not really shy. Just tell her the truth about how you actually feel about her, and she will tell you the same.

21st century mate, adorable and cute have nothing to do with friendzoning. My (girl) friends tell me this all the time... then again I am the protector of them and "Teddy Bear" to them...

@Cabbage ask her to movies and make your move there.

Different areas of the world my friend so I guess the ladies act different. On topic girls are bundles of explosions of weird ass emotions so good luck.

Avoid the friend zone at all costs, once your in it.
There is no coming out, but it would help if you said how old you are.
So maybe some of us could relate.

Friendzone is possible to get out of.. it takes determination and no contact for a few months with the girl.

Actually if you call the girl out on the friend zone chances are she'll suck your dick.

Let her know how you feel as soon as possible!
I promise you, you won't regret it!

I was in the exact same situation as you a couple of months back.
Most girls like guys to make the first move (don't ask me why) so do it!
I missed my opportunity with this really hot girl cause who I later found out had feelings for me. The worst part was that I knew the boy that she got with because I took too long to tell her how I felt. When she got with him we stopped speaking until recently. They are no longer together, she said that she has lost her feelings for me and that I should of let her know how I felt.

I live by the saying: "If you don't buy a ticket, you wont win the raffle."
I can't stress enough how much I have learnt from this saying, you honestly don't know what will happen unless you give it a shot. You may aswell otherwise you will spend every day regretting your decisions and as they are in the past there is nothing you can do about it.

At the end of the day this is just advice, it's your life so do whatever you feel is right...

As of now you're in the friendzone. And if she shares the same feelings as you she obviously likes you.
