Best Free Anti-Virus?

Got a new computer today, need an anti-virus (AT LAST, NO CRAPPY TRENDMICRO!)

I heard avira was alright, but does it disable?

I would really not recommend using a free AV, aviria is a good one, but if you are going to get an antivirus, get one that you have to pay for, and use a code. If you look on youtube there are people who just give the code away and don't make you download a keygen or anything crappy like that
