The Arena
The Arena has a buy-in fee on 150 gold. You have 3 lives, and when you've lost these you receive your reward. The reward is based on how many matches you've won. In order to understand the rewards, you need to look at this scheme.
Crafting
Crafting can be an important part of the game. It's a way to remove cards you don't like, and get new cards you like and wanna use.The crafting system is easy to understand as soon as you tried it out.
You are disenchanting cards in exchange for crafting dust, this dust can be used to craft new cards.
Here's a scheme explaining the prices of disenchanting and crafting:
Advices
Always have the board cleared on the enemies side. It might sounds stupid, but believe me. If you can have the board cleaned on the enemies side the whole game, you are going to win. It's more important to clear his board, than get damage onto him.Don't start off with playing arena until you feel ready, and you understands the basics of Hearthstone.
Watch streamers to improve your game, you can learn a lot from them. But follow this advice, have all your heroes to level 10 before you start watching streams. Then you understand the basics, and are more likely to improve your game by streams.
Always count damage. By that I mean, always count the maximum damage you can do. This advice will help you, because sometimes you can actually end the game if you calculates on it, instead of just cleaning the enemies board.
Streamers
The best streamers to watch, in my opinion is:TrumpSC - His amazing at explaining what he's doing, and why he is doing it. Perfect for learning.
Kripparrian - His a good arena player, and you can most likely learn something from him.
MaSsanSC - His a good player.
